The Delhi Faridabad Skyway or
dfskyway
TM
is a 4.4 km elevated highway connecting Delhi and Haryana at Badarpur. This engineering marvel has been developed by HCC Infrastructure with an investment of nearly Rs.600 cr. HCC was awarded a 20 year concession in 2008 to develop, construct and operate this asset by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The
dfskyway
TM
contributes significantly to Delhi’s rapidly expanding infrastructure by reducing travel time by over 40 minutes through an extremely congested corridor, that benefits residents and inter - state traffic alike. It is one of Delhi’s major radial roads and caters to very high traffic volume of over 100,000 vehicles per day. HCC Infrastructure's parent, Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has designed, engineered and constructed the

It was a few years ago that the crucial need for an elevated flyover between Delhi and its satellite township of Faridabad was first realized. The combination of local and regional traffic coupled with a high degree of turning movements and presence of pedestrians was leading to extreme chaos. To facilitate smooth movement of traffic, NHAI decided to develop a six lane Elevated Highway from Badarpur (Km 16.100) to Faridabad (Km 20.500) on NH-2. The concession for the project is 20 years, including construction period of 24 months..
Toll Plaza at Faridabad end
The Delhi - Faridabad Elevated Expressway was inaugurated on November 29, 2010 by the Chief Minister of Delhi and Haryana, nearly 1 month ahead of scheduled commissioning.
